Born and raised on the East Coast, Amber has dabbled in art for much of her life. While not formally trained, she has spent countless hours trying out a variety of mediums including painting, drawing and photography. Growing up, she admired the work of the impressionist artists, particularly the works of Van Gogh and Monet. She uses bold colors and harsh strokes to bring hues and textures alive on both paper and canvas. Amber believes that art has the power to communicate when words fall short and that the only duty one has to the work is to simply enjoy it. Her work was previously shown at the Van Der Plas Gallery in Manhattan during their Vor Kunst exhibit.
