Dominique Eustace is a Vancouver Island artist living in Maple Bay, BC. She has been painting since 1988 starting in oils and moving to acrylics. Dominique had some formal art training in 1990’s as a university student but credits her fellow artists for keeping her inspired and exploring new techniques. Dominique is a member of many artist groups and enjoys creating with other artists. Dominique is an athlete and a physician as well. These other interests lend a confidence and boldness to her approach.
"Art is a celebration of life. As a physician I witness pain and suffering so my art is created to mitigate this. I try to use color and brush strokes to evoke a pleasant response. My intention is to be playful with colour, texture and subject in a manner that invites both the unskilled and skilled eye. I have a love of intensity so create art to surprise my audience."
