If you are looking for a painting with boldness, originality, and attitude, you are in the right place. Erin Gravina works in her home art studio in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. She is self taught and has been creating art her entire life, but in 2017 she started her online art shop and took her work to the next level. From 2017-2020 she has sold over 175 paintings around the U.S. and over 250 thousand views. Erin has worked with interior designers and homeowners with an eye for design, as well as personalized one of a kind gifts. She has also worked on commercial projects for med-spas and business offices. Erin focuses on large format paintings ranging sizes from 3 ft. x 4 ft. to 7 ft. x 4 ft. Erin creates each painting from scratch. She cuts and builds the cradle board, then stretches and primes the canvas on the cradle board. Like a mad scientist, she tries new ways to experiment with new mediums and new looks. She likes to stay cutting edge and ahead of the pack. Erin uses mixed media such as: acrylics, inks, pigments, watercolors, oils, gold/copper/silver leaf, glitter, glitter dust, etc. Her paintings have a textural quality created by different thicknesses and sheens of the materials she mixes together. Then after the painting is completed, it is coated with a thick luxurious clear glossy resin coating poured on top. Art, music, and her animals are Erin's passions in life.
