Jillian Mabin in an abstract artist based in Los Angeles. Born in Grand Rapids Michigan, Jillian studied fine art and creative writing at Western Michigan University. After taking a detour to pursue the art of hair and moving to New York City, she has found her way back to her artistic roots.
As of late, her creative focus is African inspired art. Using various materials suck as liquid acrylics, pens and making handmade paper, her work stays focused on African and Black culture.
Jillian's unique work continues to be ever evolving and changing, while continuing to explore her lineage and African roots built from American culture.
