Art for me is like my heartbeat pulsing in my mind as I prepare yet another canvas. Pushing forward, lead by the acrylic or oil paints, I often intuitively arrive at a color-filled cityscape with structures being my visual signifiers. This happens because I am so aware of the importance of structures to humanity. The painting process is exciting and sometimes challenging but it will be part of my life always as these works eventually become objects of their own. This is what I do, I am an artist.
