Rootist Art was established in 2007 by Justin Rivenbark. It is the reexamination of how we are intrinsically connected to visual art. The Rootist creation process harnesses intuition and present moment decisions to reveal the creator’s undiluted visual identity. Rivenbark refers to this as the creator’s Fundamental Perspective, and contends it contains meaningful information that cannot be translated into language nor transmitted in any other way. Rootist Art does not adhere to the modern critical language of art which makes it accessible to anyone regardless of artistic talent, creativity, or education.
