Almost always, Laura Radwell’s paintings are acts of improvisation, the result of the intertwining of memory and imagination, the meshing together of the visible (and invisible) landscape, somewhere in space and time. Abstract and atmospheric, their emotional resonance can range from subtle to powerful. An unabashed use of color, texture, and unexpected markings add energy and dynamism.
Laura has been a creator of visual materials and works of art for decades. A native New Yorker, she now lives and works in Massachusetts where she finds peace and endless inspiration in the surrounding hills and valleys. Her work can often be seen in nationally juried shows and regional exhibitions.
