MBL (Marielle Belou) currently lives and works in Paris. Her artistic process relies heavily on computer, this support makes it possible to combine traditional drawing techniques with the language of the drawing software to create digital drawings.
All her digital drawings are originals.
Interior architect of formation, her studies on the architectural structure and geometry have changed her vision.
"When I look at things of my surroundings, I first see lines, then shapes and color patches that come to fill more or less precisely these Visual Geometrics."
The artwork of MBL explores the interaction between Geometric Abstraction and Figurative art.
Her color palette is most of the time inspired by the constructivism Movement.
The famous artists who inspire me are: David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, François Morellet, kitty Sabatier, Christopher Wool.
All drawings are printed in high quality at Picto Laboratory in Paris/France for a very qualitative resolution.
