Michelle Joy Montrose is a passionate and intuitive artist living in San Diego, California. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts from San Diego State University in 2015, is a resident artist at the Spanish Village in Balboa Park, and actively participates in group shows and competitions.
Michelle works primarily in oils and mixed media, but also works in a variety of other mediums which she uses when a project is suited for it. Although she is best known for her colorful cityscapes, Michelle also does illustrations, portraits, book binding, and fiber arts.
In addition to the visual arts, Michelle also performs in local renaissance faires, enjoys costuming, sings, and volunteers to help the homeless in San Diego.
