Nicole Oshan is a modern pop-art painter who lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada. Growing up she took a fond liking to the works of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein for their use of bright, solid colors, and their imaginative ways of depicting people. Utilizing this in her own work, Nicole explores the use of solid colors in a posterized manner to capture the essence of the people she paints in a unique perspective.
Nicole’s artwork has been featured in multiple galleries in Reno, NV, the Nevada Museum of Art, and has appeared in various Artown exhibitions, Reno’s month long art celebration. Nicole was a finalist in RAW Natural Born Artists’s Best Visual Artist category as well. She is also an avid burner and makes the annual pilgrimage to Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock desert where she has contributed multiple murals to the community.
