The German artist Nils Peters (b.1972), from Hamburg creates his work with the concept of association and imagination. Painting meets collage, meets material assemble and combining street-art elements to create a visual language of its own. He uses fragments of words form meaningful subject while producing their own aesthetic meaning. Their application reminds of the word / image collages of Dadaism.

Nils Peters' work has been exhibited in numerous galleries and art fairs in different countries on different continents (London, Mumbai, Bloemfontein/South Africa, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Graz, Innsbruck, Cologne, Hamburg,… etc.). So far, he has been able to present his work in over 95 exhibitions including 18 solo shows.
One of his works was published in the US art magazine "Artbook Milwaukee".
Peters lives and works in Hamburg, Germany.
