Pamela Gene Miller is a contemporary nature-based abstract painter.
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Pamela grew up with the tragedy of losing both her parents early in life. This loss helped develop her passion for freedom of expression through drawing and painting and a deep dedication to her artistic talent.
Pamela received a scholarship to Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned her BFA in Painting. She lives in rural Sonoma County in the San Francisco Bay Area where she paints in a large converted garden shed.
She explores the energy and forces in nature - growth, decay and rebirth - and translates that energy into mixed-media acrylic paintings on canvas. Central to everything in her work is a sense of freedom, abundance, beauty and love.
Pamela’s work has been exhibited at Saffron + Poe Design Gallery in Mill Valley, the Burlingame Mansion, and Richmond Marina in California, and the Steinberg Gallery in St. Louis, Missouri.
