“Art is a pivotal element to express and capture life’s moments”
Having lived on three continents, and living through first hand experiences of UK punk era, the hippie movement and internet boom Sid combines his love for art and modern culture in his works. Sid studied architecture, photography and graphic design at Santa Monica College, UCLA and CSUN continuing his work after college in the mediums of street and fashion photography as well as graphic design and painting. Sid’s award winning work can be found being exhibited at private art shows and galleries.
Experimenting with a multitude of artistic mediums, he is known for his diverse palette of contemporary oil, acrylic and multimedia paintings featuring powerful architectural influenced abstract works as well as colorful landscapes and modern figurative paintings which illustrate his personal, social and cultural commentary and experiences. Currently Sid is focusing on different media and layering techniques using oil and acrylics to create abstract modern art pieces that will capture the viewers imagination on a more intimate and personal level.
