Sue’s works are diverse and include a mixture of contemporary, still life, modern, abstract, loose watercolour, to name a few. Her love of vibrant colours is evident in her artwork. Sue’s signature paintings are her cartoon Long People series. These works each portray a story and usually depict the ‘odd one out’. An interesting feature to look out for is the ‘horns’ sign made by one of the characters in each of her paintings. This is merely to give it a humouristic touch, as her dad always made that sign when having his photo taken. It is a said to be a sign to keep away bad luck.
