Born and raised in the green mountains of Vermont, I am easily inspired by nature and find it frequently as a theme in my paintings. I currently reside in Southern California and paint daily in my studio. My paintings have been juried into shows both locally and nationally and I am represented at numerous galleries including Ashton Gallery and Art and Soul on 101. Most recently I had a solo exhibit of my work at Art Walls Oceanside. My paintings are in private collections and various corporate buildings. Every time I approach the canvas or journal page, I am ready to gain an understanding of my connection with life. There is always a reflection from within, along with the gift of clarity and purpose. I paint intuitively, letting layers of paint, fabric, collage and paper interact and unfold into a story. When I discover the story within the painting, its meaning comes into focus. When the meaning has been revealed, my painting is complete
